On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to the 1st Emirates Pediatric Endocrine Congress (EPEC) to be held Roda Al Murooj, Dubai from May 4th – 5th 2018.

The scientific committee has compiled a rich and versatile program focusing on practical and critical issues that face pediatricians, ER physicians, and other healthcare providers who deal with pediatric patients with diabetes or endocrine disorders. The topics of the conference presents the newest update in management and diagnosis of diabetes, growth and puberty disorders, thyroid disease, calcium and bone disorders and more. Moreover, dedicated time slots have been allocated towards workshops which will allow delegates to experience hands-on practicums on technology in diabetes management as well as discussing case scenarios in adrenal disorders and short stature.

The two-day program will gather the top pediatric endocrine experts from all around UAE and provide a forum for presenting and sharing ideas at academic, conceptual and clinical levels. The speakers will highlight current challenges, and clinical developments and offer their unique insights in their field of expertise.

This conference is also a great opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, both national and regional while expanding existing connections or creating new ones,. More than 300 healthcare professionals are expected to attend this event which will. help promote better pediatric endocrine practice locally and regionally.

On behalf of the EPEC, it is with great pleasure to invite you to participate in the congress, which we hope will be a scientifically and socially rewarding, memorable and enjoyable experience.
